For a training system, we would recommend at least a stopwatch and a speaker – which would start from $1700AUD; varying based on the size of the speaker you want.
Adding on a display would cost from $980AUD to $1700AUD and would give you visual communication functionality and pace clock. If it’s within the budget we’d recommend it if you’d like to provide the best experience for your swimmers and especially if you’re in a noisy environment or coach hearing-impaired swimmers.

Yes! It’s not as essential as training for race systems but we still recommend it nevertheless. It’ll give you a solid foundation in using the stopwatch’s more advanced functions – such as analysis or capturing stroke rate whilst timing a swimmer.
We offer in-person if you’re in the metropolitan Melbourne area – and virtual for people outside it.
The bare essentials – a stopwatch and a speaker. It’ll give you all the core features – minus display ones – and is popular among many coaches across the world.
Whilst a larger speaker outperforms a smaller speaker in every metric – it is also more of a pain to carry in your suitcase – so we would recommend a smaller speaker for travel purposes for coaches. You won’t lose out on functionality – only on maximum volume and sound clarity.
Yes! The main use case for using the stopwatch by itself is at race meets in the stands.
You can use it to manually time your swimmers and do poolside analysis in the stands – capturing metrics such as SWOLF to measure the efficiency of your swimmers on race day.
